Understand the execution boundary

A cross-chain transfer has separate source-chain funding, destination-chain fulfillment, and proof transactions. Atomic execution of destination calls applies within their transaction. It does not make the entire cross-chain lifecycle a single transaction. The protocol architecture explains Portal, Vault, Executor, and prover roles.
