# Eco for payments and treasury

> Use Routes for stablecoin payouts and treasury transfers, and Circle Gateway deposits for supported USDC funding flows.

Use Routes to send supported stablecoins to recipients or move liquidity between your own wallets. Your application records the payment reference, intent ID, and transaction hashes and reconciles them against transfer status.

## Build a payout workflow

Follow [Sending USDC across chains](/cookbook/send-usdc-cross-chain). Validate the recipient and amount, verify the quote, then fund and monitor the intent. Treat destination delivery and source-chain reward settlement as distinct events.

## Fund a Circle Gateway balance

[Circle Gateway deposits](/programmable-addresses/circle-gateway-deposits) accept USDC through supported source-chain flows. If your users need gasless funding, follow the [gasless Gateway guide](/cookbook/gasless-gateway-deposit).

Keep invoice or customer identifiers in your application's records. The deposit-address API does not define a general-purpose invoice-address scheme.

## Rebalance treasury

Use the [treasury-rebalancing guide](/cookbook/treasury-rebalancing) to define balance thresholds and initiate transfers. Account for pending intents, fees, and refund eligibility before submitting a replacement transfer.
