# Docs and platform changelog
> What changed across the Eco platform and its documentation, newest first. API and Sauce SDK releases have their own changelogs.
**Sauce documentation updated for the 23 to 25 September releases.** The Sauce pages now follow `@eco-incorp/sauce` 0.99.4 (Node 24, compiler 2.3.0): the [Sauce SDK](/platform/sauce-sdk) quickstart and [Getting started](/programmable-transactions/sauce/getting-started) build an intent with `Base(body, options).reward(...)`, prepare the Executor-owned Pot and Kitchen fee, and fund it; [Programs as intents](/programmable-transactions/sauce/programs-as-intents) covers intent options, token and protocol globals, builders and nested intents; [Architecture and deployments](/programmable-transactions/sauce/architecture-and-deployments) lists the execution fee, compiler and engine pins, and the release addresses on 16 EVM mainnets and Solana mainnet. The [SDK reference](/sdk-reference/sauce/overview) is regenerated from 0.99.4 and the [compiler API](/sdk-reference/sauce-compiler/api) from 2.3.0. The local dev-tools page was removed: the package documents that scaffold as incompatible with current Kitchen and Pot deployments.
**Intent types reference.** [Intent types](/resources/intent-types) names the route shapes a quote can contain (Eco solver fill, post-bridge swap, pre-bridge swap, third-party routing over Circle CCTP, same-chain swap), with a live response, a sequence diagram and the status view for each, and is linked from the quote, status and verification pages.
**SDK reference, Cookbook and Resources.** A new [SDK reference](/sdk-reference/sauce/overview) tab documents every export of `@eco-incorp/sauce` 0.99.1 and `@eco-incorp/sauce-compiler` 2.2.1 from their type declarations. A [Cookbook](/cookbook/overview) tab collects the end-to-end guides and the complete Sauce programs shipped in the packages. Resources gains an [FAQ](/resources/faq), [Security and audits](/resources/security), [Support and community](/resources/support), and separate changelogs for the [API](/resources/changelog/api) and the [Sauce SDK](/resources/changelog/sauce-sdk).
**Sauce documentation rebuilt from sauce.eco.com and the published packages.** [Program your route](/programmable-transactions/overview) and the [Sauce SDK](/platform/sauce-sdk) now describe Sauce as shipped: a Turing-complete runtime for the EVM and SVM (closed access), `@eco-incorp/sauce-compiler` 2.2.1 and `@eco-incorp/sauce` 0.99.1. New pages: [Getting started](/programmable-transactions/sauce/getting-started), [SauceScript reference](/programmable-transactions/sauce/saucescript), [Examples](/cookbook/overview), [Programs as intents](/programmable-transactions/sauce/programs-as-intents), and [Architecture and deployments](/programmable-transactions/sauce/architecture-and-deployments) with the v1.0.0 addresses. An `eco-sauce` agent skill ships alongside.
**Capabilities renamed to what you do with them.** Following the product map (v4.3), capability pages and sidebar sections now carry the verbed labels: Send & Swap across chains, Deposit & Payout, Program your route, Enable 1:1 stablecoin UX, Ensure end-to-end compliance. The engines keep their names in the first sentence of each page and in contracts and API paths (Routes, Programmable Addresses, Programmable Transactions, Verified Liquidity). Added a [Routes API + CLI](/platform/routes-api) landing page under Core, and renamed the persona section to Who uses Eco.
**Eco API v1 reference.** The API reference now documents `https://api.eco.com/v1`: [chains](/api-reference/v1/chains) and [tokens](/api-reference/v1/tokens) discovery, [signed quotes](/api-reference/v1/quotes) with a ready-to-send `execution.transaction`, gasless funding with [Permit3](/api-reference/v1/submit-permit3), [Permit2](/api-reference/v1/submit-permit2) and [ERC-3009](/api-reference/v1/submit-erc-3009), [intent status](/api-reference/v1/intent-status), and the [Circle Gateway](/api-reference/v1/gateway-create) deposit-address endpoints under `/v1/circle-gateway/`. Every v1 endpoint except Circle Gateway takes an `x-api-key`. Quotes carry an EIP-712 signature; see [Quote verification](/api-reference/quote-verification). The legacy `quotes.eco.com` exact-input endpoint stays available as the keyless [Open quoting service](/api-reference/public-quote).
**Integration guides on v1.** [Integrate the Routes API](/get-started/integrate-routes-api), [Sending USDC across chains](/cookbook/send-usdc-cross-chain), [Treasury rebalancing](/cookbook/treasury-rebalancing) and the Circle Gateway pages now use the v1 endpoints and shapes (`type`, `source.funder`, `dappId`, `destination.amountOut`).
**Skills.** `eco-api-v1` replaces the earlier Routes API skill and ships with `transfer.ts`, a reference script that quotes, verifies, funds and tracks a transfer from an EVM or Solana source chain. See [Agent integration](/api-reference/agent-integration).
**Navigation redesign.** The docs now follow the platform map: a linear **Get started** path (Welcome, Platform overview, Get set up, first transfer, Routes API integration, agents), then What we support, Who we serve, and Guides by common use case. A **Developer platform** tab groups products by pillar: Routing, Deposits, Programmability, Compliance, plus Core concepts and Protocol architecture. Changelog is its own tab. Product tabs for Routes, Programmable Addresses, Programmable Transactions and Verified Liquidity became pillar sections; old links redirect.
**Custom agent skills.** Skills now ship from the docs repo and are served at `/.well-known/skills/`: the Eco API v1, Deposit & Payout addresses, and becoming a solver.
Delisted chains that are no longer enabled from [Supported chains and tokens](/resources/supported-chains-tokens) and removed the Crowd Liquidity pages. Old Crowd Liquidity links redirect to the Routes overview.
Added a [testnet guide](/programmable-addresses/circle-gateway-testnet) for Circle Gateway Fast Deposits: send testnet USDC on Base Sepolia, OP Sepolia or Arbitrum Sepolia and receive a Gateway balance on Polygon Amoy.
Documented [Flash Intents](/routes/capabilities/flash-intents), the same-chain mode that fills orders from the user's own vaulted funds via `flashFulfill`, and the [any-token swap](/api-reference/swap/exact-in-swap) quote endpoint on `api.eco.com`.
Restored [Solana Deposit Addresses](/programmable-addresses/solana-deposit-addresses) (a deterministic EVM address on Base that auto-routes USDC to a Solana wallet) and replaced generated diagrams with Eco-branded architecture diagrams across the Routes pages.
Circle Gateway Deposits moved to the quoted-vault scheme: `POST /circle-gateway/v2/depositAddresses` on `https://api.eco.com` returns a per-intent vault with a quote `deadline`. EIP-2612 Permit is a supported funding method alongside ERC-3009 and direct transfer. See [Funding methods](/programmable-addresses/funding-methods).
Renamed Institutional Liquidity to [Verified Liquidity](/verified-liquidity/overview), a closed-access offering. Contact Eco for current onboarding and integration requirements.
