# Route Base deposits to Solana

> Give users a Base deposit address for USDC delivery to a Solana wallet.

Use a Solana deposit address when your sender can transfer USDC on Base and your recipient needs USDC on Solana. Your application requests and stores the address; Eco's service monitors it and submits the intent-creation transactions.

This recipe uses the static v1 deposit-address API. Read the [availability and deprecation notes](/programmable-addresses/solana-deposit-addresses) before starting a new integration.

## Prerequisites

* The recipient's Solana wallet address
* An EVM depositor address for the intent's refund path
* Base USDC and enough ETH for the sender's transfer
* A delivery check for the recipient's Solana token account

## Integrate the deposit flow

1. [Create a Solana deposit address](/programmable-addresses/solana-deposit-addresses#request-a-deposit-address) using the recipient wallet and depositor. Store the returned `evmDepositAddress`, source chain, and factory address.
2. Show the sender the returned address and identify **Base USDC** explicitly. This flow is not an address for arbitrary tokens or chains.
3. Send USDC to that address on Base. The sender signs and pays gas for the ERC-20 transfer.
4. [Check processing and delivery](/programmable-addresses/solana-deposit-addresses#check-processing-and-delivery). Contract deployment and the last observed balance show processing state, not destination delivery.

The configured factory, destination, and depositor determine the address. Preserve those inputs with the address; do not reuse an address for a different recipient.

## Troubleshooting

* If the source transaction failed, resolve the wallet or gas error before retrying.
* If the transfer succeeded but delivery is delayed, keep its transaction hash and deposit record for investigation. Do not send another payment solely because the destination balance has not updated.
* If the API reports an unconfigured chain, check the supported sources in the Solana guide.
